To use your , follow these easy steps:

1) While sitting, hold the sock aid in your lap and slide sock over the sock aid so the toe of the sock is as close to the edge as possible. The more sock you can slide onto the sock aid before use, the more likely you are to achieve success in sliding the sock completely onto your foot or above the ankle.

2) Once the sock is on the sock aid, attach the sock aid to the far end of the reacher by sliding the connector on the sock aid into the right or left slot of the reacher.

3) Once the sock aid is attached to the reacher, hold the handle in your right or left hand and extend the reacher so the base of the sock aid rests on the floor.

4) Position your foot so your toes and as much of your foot as possible is inside the sock.

5) Gently pull the reacher in an upward motion towards you to help guide the sock onto your foot.

6) Repeat steps 1-5 with your other sock. It may take a couple of times using your sock aid before you get a feel for using the sock aid and become adept at getting on your socks. You will also learn which kind of socks go on easier than others.

1) Gently pull up on the handle of the shoehorn and slide forward. The shoehorn will slide forward and lock into place.

2) When finished, gently pull up on the handle of the shoehorn and slide back to its original position until locked into place. The shoehorn allows you to put your shoes on without bending, thus allowing you to easily slip your foot into virtually any shoe.
